Staindl Wines 2011 Chardonnay

The chardonnay grapes for this wine have been picked and sorted by hand from our vineyard at Red Hill. Our wines are organically grown using biodynamic practices. Our whole philosophy it to allow our site to express itself through our wine.

2011 a very difficult season requiring eternal vigilance in the vineyard. Low yielding due to cool moist flowering, slow ripening developed good flavours.

Tasting notes

Aromas of white flowers/stone fruit with pleasing citrus notes. Juicy freshness on entry with pleasing mid palate richness. Seamless oak balance to give structure.

White meats, fish and sea food, cheese platter.
