Opens with engaging nose of struck match and summer white flowers. Develops on palate with melon and peach notes and finishes with good flow. Our first vintage from the replanted vineyard after a 6-year layoff; Staindl Wines had a very small crop from a model vintage.
The 2018 Chardonnay has a lovely focus - clean, crisp acid which leads to a balanced finish.
Estate-grown grapes only.
