One of our few remaining Chardonnays, the sumptuous fruit in this bottle is the perfect friend to evoke warm feelings!
We had perfect conditions towards the end of this vintage for making an excellent drop, which can be best be enjoyed with chicken dishes of all varieties.
Organically grown, the hand-picked fruit was barrel-fermented and cold pressed from the Staindl estate only.
Tasting notes: Aromatic white flowers, rich fruit and lingering presence.
Cuisine: Loves chicken/game pie.
Vineyard Region: Red Hill South / Mornington Peninsula
Vintage conditions: Cool wet year with low fruit set, then lovely warm March, leading to perfect vintage conditions.
